- Meule-Quin
- MOLLOQUIN, MOULEQUIN, MEULE-QUINFrench term for various fabrics of the 14th century, made at Abbeville and Cambria and dyed in a mauve colour. Later, far into the 18th century the term was applied to fine linens, similar to batiste, made in Northern France and sold in the grey. The regulations of 1781 forbade the employment of any foreign substance, such as glue, paste, wax, etc., in finishing these fabrics (see also Mulquinerie)
